Our most popular funeral, from start to finish, is only £1950 plus disbursements. This covers everything from our professional services to all staff including pall bearers, a hearse and a quality local handmade coffin. Please see our basic price breakdown below.

Why Choose Hayley Owen Funeral Service for your Direct Cremation Funeral
Our dedicated and empathetic funeral arrangers at Hayley Owen Funeral Service will look after you and your family throughout the direct cremation process.
You will be in touch with the same person throughout the arrangements and if you are local to our funeral home, you can arrange a face-to face visit or we can arrange a home visit. This is where our service differs from some Direct Cremation providers without local Funeral Homes, suitable premises or Qualified funeral arrangers and directors to support you during the arrangement.
We will collect your loved one and transport them in our funeral Home in York.
Your loved one will rest in our modern facilities, where you can arrange to visit your loved one at our private chapel of rest.
Our team will keep you informed and answer any questions or queries you may have regarding direct cremations; this will include the time and date the cremation is taking place. You have the option to dress your loved one in their own clothes.
After the cremation, when you are ready, you can arrange with our team to collect your loved one’s ashes, from our funeral homes. We can also arrange for the ashes to be hand delivered to you.
An unattended cremation has no formal funeral service, and the cremation is usually unattended, leaving you to say goodbye to your loved on in your own way. Once you receive your Loved One’s ashes, you have the freedom to arrange a personal memorial at a time and location which best suits your family.
